Bag to Basics: A Simple Grab Bag While the Kettle Boils

Bag to Basics, Shelf Explanatory No. 1. A man carries a backpack beside a boiling kettle. Today I grabbed a backpack. Nothing fancy, just two straps, a big pocket and a small one. Inside: a torch, a bottle of water, a cereal bar, spare socks, a spare T-shirt and a beanie hat. It took the same time as boiling the kettle. It does not take much to get prepared. It also does not take stress. Is it the best? No. Could it be better? Yes. But it is a starter for ten. What could you pull together in the time it takes the kettle to boil? Shelf Reliance. Grab Bag. Start Small.
